Yvonne Anne Bauer, 81, of Monroe passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on May 13, 1936 the daughter of Frank and Arlene (Schwantes) Eddy in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Roland Bauer on May 25, 1955 in Loyal, Wisconsin; he preceded her in death on March 23, 2013.
Yvonne finished her schooling at American School of Chicago; graduating on June 30, 1964.
Yvonne was a longtime member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor's Catholic Church in Monroe. She enjoyed watching the Packers, going to the casino, reading, and she had a great love for her pets and animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Tim (Jeri) Bauer of Monroe; 8 grandchildren: Jodi Granados, Danielle, Raymond, and Cory Bauer, Cody and Riley Henning, and Rory and Grayson Privett; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Scott Allen and Jeffrey Richard; and daughter, Dawn Grinnell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Father Mike Tierney officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Calvary Cemetery in Monroe.
