Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69 at 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Margaret C. Marti, 77, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Pedro Diaz Xoylalta, 25, Monroe. Marti was cited for unsafe lane deviation. Diaz Xoylalta was cited for driving with a suspended license. The vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle accident that took place at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 59 near Suburban Road in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch, down an embankment and rolled. The vehicle caught fire. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle accident at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the W8000 block of County Y in Jordan township. Deputies report a vehicle left the road, went through a fence and through a pasture so it could leave the scene.

n A vehicle driven by Gayle A. Freidrich, 60, Juda, collided with a deer at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday on Shanghai Road near Union Road in Spring Grove township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Friday on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Logan Taylor, 21, Darlington, missed a curve, went off the road and into a field. He sustained non-life threatening injuries. No further details were available.

A vehicle driven by Brent Leigh, 26, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on County A in Argyle township.

A vehicle driven by Michael A. Lenz, 20, Oshkosh, collided with a deer at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township.
