NEW GLARUS - Lindsey E. McCormick, 26, Madison, reported hitting a large landscape rock at 2:47 p.m. Friday at the New Glarus Brewery, 119 County W in New Glarus. McCormick was backing up when she struck the large rock and got stuck. A towing company was contacted to move the vehicle. The vehicle received minor undercarriage damage.
Two injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 2:47 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of East Coates Avenue in the Village of Monticello. Deputies report that Carlton E. Lease, 17, Belleville, was traveling eastbound on East Coates Avenue when he failed to slow for a curve, went up and over an embankment and rolled the vehicle. Lease, and his passenger, Dylan J. Palmer, 18, Belleville, were injured and transported to UW Hospital. Lease was charged with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

MONROE - No injuries reported during a one-car accident at 2:20 p.m. Friday on Wis. 81 near Mt. Hope Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report that John A. Buck, 59, Brodhead, was driving eastbound on Wis. 81 while hauling hay bales when three bales blew off of the top. One of the bales collided with a vehicle heading westbound. The vehicle was driven by Herbert R. Mandel, 70, Janesville. Mandel's vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at 11:08 p.m. Friday to the West 4900 block of County KK in the Town of Sylvester. Nichole M. Winters, 28, Monroe, reported she was traveling westbound on County KK when she braked for two deer standing the roadway. Winters slid on wet pavement and crossed the center line, then spun towards the north, spinning east. Winters entered the north ditch line and turned onto the driver's side. The vehicle sustained moderate driver's side damage and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Christa A. Iverson, 31, Rio, reported being stuck in a ditch at 5:56 p.m. Friday on Wis.151 in the town of Belmont. The vehicle received damaged and was towed out of the ditch.
Deputies reported a hit and run accident at 8:24 a.m. Saturday on Valley View Road in the Town of Elk Grove. The accident remains under investigation.
