DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 a.m. Saturday on Kennedy Road in Benton township. Deputies report Thomas G. Werner, 53, Galena, Ill., crossed into oncoming traffic and then traveled back into his own lane and traveled off the roadway, through a fence, breaking a guide line to a power pole. The vehicle then rolled, coming to rest upright. Werner was transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa, by Hazel Green Ambulance. Warner's vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on County F in Fayette township. Deputies report Wendy S. Rotar, 41, Middleton, fell off the back of the motorcycle as it accelerated. Rotar was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday on Bonner Lane in Belmont township. Deputies report Tina M. Ludlum, 29, Platteville, struck a guardrail and went into the ditch. Ludlum's vehicle received damage and was towed from the scene.
No one was injured on a one-vehicle rollover accident at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday on County K in Darlington township. Deputies report Amador Lopez Guerrero, (no age), South Wayne, lost control of the vehicle and overturned and came to rest in a ditch. Guerrero was cited for failure to have control, failure to report an accident and no valid driver's license. Guerrero posted bond and was released.

NEW GLARUS - One person sustained minor cuts and bruises from shattered glass in a vehicle-deer accident at about 10:45 a.m. Sept. 23, on Wisconsin 69 near 14th Avenue. Police report a deer ran into the path of a van driven by Michael L. Pohill, 58, Freeport, Ill., and jumped at the last second, striking the windshield. The vehicle received moderate damage. Pohill declined medical attention at the scene.
