MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the N2500 block of Balls Mill Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Carrie A. Carpenter, 33, Monroe, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, hit an embankment and a guide wire for a utility pole and rolled over. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Friday at Wisconsin 81 and Halfway Tree Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mehmed Gracanin, 58, Waterloo, Iowa, collided with a vehicle driven by Jeremy J. Haigh, 32, Brodhead. Gracanin's vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Haigh's truck received minor damage. Gracanin was cited for passing a vehicle indicating a left turn and released pending court.
