Traffic Accidents: Sept. 3, 2013

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Tyler J. Roberts, 20, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Vogel Road west of County N in Monroe Township at 12:27 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Roberts was driving a pickup truck westbound when he veered off the north side of the road and sideswiped a tree. The pickup sustained moderate to severe damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wisconsin 59 and County FF in Sylvester Township at 5:14 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. Carlie J. Peters, 17, Monroe, was eastbound on County FF, approaching the intersection, when she reported her vehicle's brakes failed and she was unable to stop. Her vehicle collided with a vehicle northbound on Wis. 59 driven by Robert E. Spoerry, 84, Albany. He was uninjured. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Peters and her passenger reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at Evergreen Village on County XX in Belmont Township at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. One vehicle was being backed from a driveway when it hit an unoccupied parked vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

• A deputy responded to Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township at 10:12 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, for a complaint of an injured deer in the lane of traffic. The deer had been hit by an unknown vehicle.

• Debra L. Henry, 42, Platteville, reported no injuries at 10:44 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, after she hit a dog on County XX in Belmont Township. Her vehicle was moderately damaged.
