MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of 9th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Ruth S. Fimrette, 75, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Jamie J. Walker, 34, Monroe. Walker and his 9-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital by Green County EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Fimrette was cited for operating left of the centerline.

MONROE - Two people were injured in an ATV accident at about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in the N1700 block of Allen Road in the Town of Cadiz. Deputies report an ATV driven by Marie L. Carpenter, 21, Monroe, was southbound when, she stated, an SUV came up behind them. Carpenter swerved into the ditch and struck a small hole, causing the ATV to flip. Carpenter and her passenger, Bridgett A. Bettner, 20, South Wayne, sustained injuries. Carpenter was transported by private vehicle to the Monroe Clinic ER. The ATV received moderate damage and was removed from the scene by the owner. The crash is under investigation.
• Brooke L. Stampfli, 20, Mount Horeb, collided with a deer, at about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the N9000 block of County O in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received minor vehicle damage and was driven from the scene.
