Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Second Street. Police report Susan R. Krueger, 38, Monroe, struck a pole in a parking lot. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies investigated a hit and run traffic crash at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the N9500 block of County CC. A vehicle struck a fence and fled the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

• Deputies investigated a traffic crash at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 69 at Washington Road. The offending vehicle left the scene and was stopped at Wis. 69 and Abels Road. Andrea B. Clarke, 27, Madison, was arrested for first offense operating while under the influence and failure to maintain control. Deputies report Clarke hit a tree and fled the scene. The vehicle received moderate damage. Clarke was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the W6800 block of Franklin Road. Deputies report John T. Buol, 16, Monroe stated he swerved to avoid a raccoon in the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment, causing moderate damage, and was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Jeremy M. Guth, 30, Madison, hit a deer at about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 69 south of County CC. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Deputies responded to an accident at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street in Blanchardville. No other information was available.
