MONROE POLICE

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of 17th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Jose A. Aragon, 23, Monroe, and Michale A. Cook, 46, Monroe, collided. Aragon sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic. Cook fled the scene. Cook was later located and was arrested for hit-and-run involving injuries, failure to notify police of an accident, inattentive driving, improper stop at a stop sign and obstructing an officer. Cook was jailed. Both vehicles received extensive damage.

NEW GLARUS POLICE

No one was injured in a four-car accident at about 7 p.m. Oct. 21 on Fifth Avenue near Railroad Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Lois S. Greer, 78, New Glarus, drove off the road and hit a fire hydrant. Greer then attempted to leave the scene and hit three parked vehicles. Greer was arrested for drunken driving and inattentive driving. All four vehicles received moderate damages.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Oct. 19 in the parking lot at New Glarus Car Wash. Police report a vehicle driven by Brock A.S. Reeson, 16, Blanchardville, backed up and hit a vehicle driven by Michael D. Teasdale, 47, Monroe. The vehicles received minor to moderate damage.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Two people were injured when they lost control of their motorcycles at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the N3800 block of County J. Deputies report Dale D. Foulker, 36, New Glarus, lost control of his motorcycle, which overturned on its side. Foulker was not wearing a helmet and sustained injuries. He was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Services. His motorcycle received extensive damage. Todd M. Tullis, 33, Browntown, was driving his motorcycle behind Foulker. He put on the brakes to avoid colliding with Foulker and lost control of his motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained injuries. He was taken to the Monroe Clinic for injuries. He was cited for drunken driving. His motorcycle received moderate damage.

• One person was injured when a deer collided with a van at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the N1900 block of Wisconsin 69. Deputies report a deer collided with a van driven by Juanita M. Butler, 37, Monroe, and went through the side window. A passenger in the vehicle, Ian G. Salzwedel, 11, Monroe, sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Monroe Clinic. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3 p.m. Sunday in the W2400 block of County C west of County X in Brooklyn township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Todd G. Brewer, 42, Albany, swerved to avoid deer in the road, left the road and hit a fence and several small trees. Brewer sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. His vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Amanda M. Andreas, 28, Brooklyn, hit a deer at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday in the W7100 block of Wis. 39. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Danielle K. Schrenk, 24, Monroe, hit a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 near Town Center Road in Clarno township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Daniel G. Purcell, 25, Madison, hit a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 near Holloway Road in Washington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by David A. Busker, 62, Monroe, hit a deer at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the N4000 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Friday on College Farm Road in Belmont township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Tayton E. Stolle, 18, Argyle, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Jeremy C. Condon, 19, Richland Center. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Friday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Theodore J. McDermott, 31, Darlington, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Jorge Neptaly Duarte, 34, Madison. Duarte was arrested for drunken driving, driving without a license, failure to notify police of an accident, hit and run and speeding. He was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on County M in Wiota township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Aaron G. Springer, 40, Argyle, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, went into a ditch and hit a utility pole. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday on Ames Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a semi driven by Jon V. Riley, overturned when the corn inside the trailer shifter. Riley was cited for failure to keep his vehicle under control. The vehicle was towed.

• A vehicle driven by James D. Dahl, 53, South Wayne, was hit as it exited a driveway by a vehicle driven by Danielle L. Martins, 22, Orangeville, Ill. No further information was available.

• A vehicle driven by Jeremy L. Smith, 29, Darlington, hit a raccoon at about 7:45 p.m. Friday on County F in Blanchard township. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Bucky L. Boland, 34, Cobb, hit a deer at about 6:15 a.m. Saturday on County G in Willow Springs township.

• A vehicle driven by Michael D. Hicks, 28, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township.

• A vehicle driven by Jamie L. Wilson, 24, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 11 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove township.
