DARLINGTON - Cara J. Buss, 18, Davis, Ill., sustained minor injuries but declined treatment following a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 78 in the Town of Blanchard at 6:54 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22. She was southbound when she swerved to miss a deer and lost control. The 2008 Pontiac she was driving veered into a ditch, hit a highway sign and came to rest in a field. The Pontiac was moderately damaged and towed.
Elizabeth A. Scott, 58, Gratiot, was taken by Argyle Ambulance to Monroe Clinic for treatment of injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle crash on County A in the Town of Argyle at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22. When she came to the T-intersection with Wis. 78, she drove through it due to the heavy fog in the area. The 2012 Toyota she was driving went across Wis. 78 and into the ditch, where it dropped down an embankment before coming to rest in a field. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed. Argyle firefighters and police assisted at the scene.
Julie A. Mason, 31, Argyle, reported at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, that she hit a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Argyle. She was uninjured, and her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Lisa E. Carpenter, 48, Darlington, reported at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, that she had crashed her vehicle in the Town of Darlington earlier that morning but was uninjured. She said she fell asleep shortly after midnight while driving southbound on Palmer Road. The 2010 Dodge went into the ditch and hit a power pole guidewire. She was able to drive the car from the ditch.
A deputy responded to a complaint of manure spilled on the roadway on County G in the Town of Kendall at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23.
