DARLINGTON - Luis Alberto Ortiz-Campos, 21, Darlington, was arrested after a hit-and-run collision with an occupied vehicle at 8:35 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Main Street and Louisa Street. Ortiz-Campos was charged with driving without a license or vehicle insurance, fleeing the scene of an accident and failing to notify police of an accident.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported at 10:58 a.m. after Ryan M. Rygh, 26, South Wayne, backed a cement truck into an unoccupied delivery truck at a residence in the W6300 block of Wald Road, Town of Monroe. The delivery truck sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. The cement truck was undamaged.

• No injuries were reported at 7 p.m. after Kathleen R. Stefanik, 64, Brodhead, struck a deer in the N4000 block of County E, Town of Decatur. Stefanik's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:23 p.m. after Melessa J. Taylor, 48, Albany, struck a deer in the N6200 block of County E, Town of Albany. Taylor's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:30 p.m. after Alex G. Gutzmer, 17, Monticello, struck a deer in the N4400 block of County N, Town of Monroe. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 10:44 p.m. after Jodi R. Fitzsimons, 40, Darlington, struck a deer near the intersection of Wisconsin 81 and McGrath Lane, Town of Jordan. Fitzsimons' vehicle sustained severe damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - ON Thursday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:31 a.m. after Penny L. Tregloan, 50, Shullsburg, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Tregloan's vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6:55 a.m. after Scott A. Garthwaite, 45, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. Garthwaite's vehicle sustained moderate damage.
