New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police were called to New Glarus High School at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, to investigate a report of a vehicle vs. bicycle accident that happened the day before. A 2012 Toyota RAV4 driven by Sarah E. Olsen, 27, Blanchardville, was pulling into Subway in the 1300 block of Wisconsin 69 at about 2 p.m. when she hit a 15-year-old girl riding her bicycle on the bike trail. The bicyclist sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Abraham D. Trueblood, 18, Brodhead, declined medical treatment for injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle crash in the N3800 block of Park Road in the Town of Decatur at 8:27 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14. He was eastbound when he struck a downed tree that was across the entire road. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Brodhead police assisted at the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Joshua W. Garringer, 30, Anamosa, Iowa, reported no injuries at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, after he hit a raccoon on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot. The vehicle he was driving was moderately damaged and towed. Shullsburg police assisted at the scene.
