Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Andrew D. Ellinger, 16, Freeport, Ill., hit a vehicle driven by Kenneth C. Alexander, 39, Dodgeville. Ellinger was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Wednesday on 21st Street at Wisconsin 69. Police report a trailer pulled by a vehicle driven by Anthony R. Anglin, 27, Monroe, hit a signal light pole.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6 a.m. Wednesday on Wis. 92 north of Schaefer Road in Exeter township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Cole A. Mabis, 25, Belleville, left the road, hit a culvert and came to rest in a field. Mabis sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. He was arrested for third-offense driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and inattentive driving. He was jailed.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1 a.m. Thursday in the N8700 block of County E in Brooklyn township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Randall L. Muhs, 51, Janesville, was turning into a driveway when it was sideswiped by a vehicle driven by Bradford W. Mather, 62, Albany. Muhs' vehicle received moderate damage. Mather's vehicle received extensive damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot in the 2800 block of 6th Avenue in Monroe. Deputies report a Monroe Police Department squad car driven by Taylor W. Heiman, 26, Monroe, was backing when it hit an unoccupied vehicle owned by Michael R. Dietmeier, 57, Winslow, Ill. Deitmeier's vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Shane H. Olson, 41, Monroe, collided with a deer Monday on County N and Vogel Road. He reported the accident Wednesday. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Joyce Ball, 54, Galena, left the road and hit a rock wall due to ice on the road. The vehicle was towed.

• No one was injure din a two-vehicle accident at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday on Beebe Road in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Aaron Dean, 25, Galena, Ill., left the road and went into a ditch. He was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle.

• A vehicle driven by Tommy Davis, 48, Juda, collided with a deer at about 5 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 78 in Blanchard township.

• A vehicle driven by Gail Lancaster, 48, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 5 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township.

• A vehicle driven by Thomas Reed, 40, Janesville, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township.

• A vehicle driven by David Jorgenson, 61, Gratiot, collided with a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township.
