Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Troy A. Truttmann, 46, Monticello, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash on County C at County CC, Town of Mt. Pleasant. Truttmann was southbound on County C when his vehicle traveled through the intersection of County CC and hit a group of road signs and an embankment. The vehicle was severely damaged but driven from the scene. Truttmann was cited at 6:24 a.m. for inattentive driving, driving without insurance and no registration.

• Patrick J. Mallory, 70, Monroe, was uninjured after his vehicle hit a road sign on Wisconsin 69 south of Rolling Acres Lane, Town of Monroe, at 12:44 p.m. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Philip R. Miskimon, 59, Winslow, Ill., was uninjured in a one-truck accident on Wisconsin 59 north of County FF, Town of Sylvester, at 2:45 p.m. Miskimon was northbound on Wis. 59 when he lost control of his truck due to the icy roadway, entered the east ditch and partially overturned, landing on the driver's side. The truck was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Deputies, Albany EMS and Albany Fire Department responded to the crash.

• Aeriel Sabri King, 18, Freeport, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash in the N1200 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 3:15 p.m. King was northbound and lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roadway and traveled into the east ditch. The vehicle hit the ditch, went up an embankment and came to rest after hitting a group of trees. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Mario A. Robinson, 35, Freeport, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 69 at Holloway Road, Town of Washington. Robinson was southbound on Wis. 69 when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and traveled into the west ditch. The vehicle then went down an embankment and hit a fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the N1100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 4:10 p.m. Jasmine E. Veasley, 21, Freeport, was southbound and lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roadway causing the vehicle to slide into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle hit a second vehicle head-on, which was driven by Marueen K. Phillips, 43, Argyle. Both vehicles were very severely damaged and towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the N1100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 4:49 p.m. Maria Chlebanowski, 50, Freeport, was southbound and was slowing for a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel. As Chlebanowski was slowing a vehicle driven by Leona C. Julius, 50, Dakota, was southbound and unable to stop due to the icy roadway and hit the Chlebanowski vehicle. Both vehicles sustained very minor damage and were driven from the scene.

• Kyle J. T. Olson, 19, Janesville, and his passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 69 at County H, Town of New Glarus, at 6:11 p.m. Olson was southbound on Wis. 69 when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy roadway and the vehicle began to spin before entering the ditch and hitting a sign. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Mark D. Severson, 53, Warren, Ill., was uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy conditions on Wisconsin 11 at Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe, at 8:08 p.m. The vehicle spun around and hit a guardrail before coming to rest, causing moderate damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Angela R. Shelly, 39, Davis, Ill., was uninjured after she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy conditions on County T north of Hoosier Road, Town of Spring Grove, at 8:32 p.m. Shelly was southbound when her vehicle entered the west ditch and hit a utility pole, causing moderate damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Deputies responded at 10:35 a.m. to reports of several vehicles that slid off the road due to slippery conditions on Lafayette County roadways.

• Melanie J. Becker, 22, Middleton, was uninjured after she lost control of her vehicle on the icy conditions on Wis. 11, Wayne Township, at 11:14 a.m. The vehicle crossed the roadway and entered the west ditch hitting a telephone box and the corner of a fence post. The vehicle was damaged and towed from the scene.

• Brian V. Olson, 29, Platteville, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. for driving after revocation after deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on West Mound Road, Belmont Township. Olson was jailed and then later released pending court.

• Sheila M. Morrissey, 46, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wis. 11, New Diggings Township, at 5:17 p.m.

• David J. Zasada, 42, Darlington, was uninjured after his vehicle slid off the roadway and hit a tree due to icy conditions on County G, Belmont Township. Zasada's vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
