DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Nov. 14:
Heide M. Henson, 45, Argyle, reported no injuries at 6:11 a.m. after she hit a deer on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Sally A. Slater, 76, Blanchardville, reported no injuries from a one-car accident at 2:20 p.m. on County F in Blanchardville. Slater was eastbound, turning left onto Wis. 78, when she hit a sign in the intersection island. She was experiencing medical problems and continued on to an appointment at the nearby medical clinic, where she reported the accident. Her 2003 Buick sustained minor damage. The Blanchardville Fire Department and Blanchardville EMS were initially alerted to the accident when several 911 calls received in Green and Dane counties reported that the accident involved two vehicles.
Gary J. Wirth, 35, Monticello, reported no injuries at 6:58 p.m. after he hit a deer on County G in Argyle Township. His vehicle sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported at 8:11 p.m. after a piece of equipment on a semi truck and loaded grain trailer struck and pulled down several utility lines that cross over South Judgement Street in Shullsburg. Robert P. Marksman, 55, Reedsville, was driving the semi northbound when the accident occurred. The trailer sustained minor damage. Several houses were also damaged as the utility lines were yanked from residential hook-up areas. The Shullsburg Public Works Department and several utility companies assisted at the scene.
Jaclyn J. Gobrecht, 34, Cuba City, reported no injuries at 11:08 p.m. after she hit a deer on Wis. 11 in New Diggings Township. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
