Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Chelsea L. Reine, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W1000 block of Dunphy Road in Albany.

• Brian E. Lobeck, Brodhead, struck a deer in the N5200 block of Wisconsin 104 in Albany.

On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported when Christopher M. Kummer, 27, Browntown, struck a deer at 12:26 a.m. in the N2100 block of Allen Road in the Town of Cadiz. Kummer was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, no proof of insurance and operating after suspension. Deputies were advised of the crash from a towing company. Kummer was traveling southbound on Allen Road when a deer entered the roadway and he applied the brakes. He then skidded into the east ditch line and collided with some brush. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed. He was released pending court.

• Caleb T. Vazquez, 25, Juda, was involved in a one-vehicle rollover crash with injuries at 1:07 a.m. at the intersection of County T and Wis. 81 in the Town of Spring Grove. He was cited for operating while intoxicated (1st), failure to stop at a stop sign, no seatbelt and too fast for conditions. He was southbound on County T when he lost control of his vehicle, struck the road/stop sign, entered the west ditch, overturned end-over-end several times before coming to rest on its roof. Vazquez was ejected and was transported to an area hospital for his injuries and was released pending court. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Brodhead Police, Brodhead Fire and Brodhead EMS also responded.

• Preston E. Berg, Monticello, struck a deer in the N7600 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus.

• Julia A. Flannery, Evansville, struck a deer in the W1800 block of County C in Brooklyn.

• Erick J. Pladies, Helenville, struck a deer on Balls Mill Road on Wis. 11 in Sylvester.

• Anita J. Best, Monroe, struck a deer in the N3300 block of Wis. 59 in Sylvester.

On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported when Tami M. Johnson, 34, Browntown, struck a deer at 6:14 a.m. in the W7000 block of Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Clarno. Johnson's vehicle sustained disabling front-end damage and was towed.

• Cindy K. Freeman, 59, Warren, was traveling west when debris from an earlier collision struck her vehicle. Jerry L. Vance, 52, Warren, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested on a Green County warrant for failure to appear. Freeman's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Vance was jailed pending bond.

On Friday:

• No injuries were reported when Roberto Jaime Benitez, 43, Beloit, was cited for operating after suspension after being involved in a one-vehicle crash at 2:31 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 and County GG in the Town of Spring Grove. Benitez was westbound on Wis. 81 when he failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicle continued through the intersection and proceeded to enter the northwest ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling front end damage and was towed. Benitez was released pending court.

• No injuries were reported when Tammy J. Buehler, 51, Monroe, was traveling on the off ramp at 4:05 p.m. from Wis. 11 to Wis. 81 when a semi unit struck her vehicle from behind. Her vehicle sustained no damage and was driven from the scene. The semi, driven by William S. Pert, 53, Oelwein, Iowa, and his passenger also reported no injuries. The semi sustained minor front end damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported when John M. Stindt, 46, Platteville, struck a deer at 4:21 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township. His 2009 Jeep sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Cassey M. Shunk, 22, Monroe, struck a deer at 6:32 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Blanchard Township. Shunk's 2013 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.   

No injuries were reported when Duane A. Paulson, 63, Belmont, struck a deer at 4:58 p.m. on County G in Belmont Township. His 2007 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

No injuries were reported when Cole T. Douglas, 19, Belmont, struck a deer at 5:15 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road in Belmont Township. Douglas' 2007 Dodge sustained minor damage.

On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported when Kerry L. Lattin, 40, Darlington, struck a deer at 5:29 a.m. on Prairie Road in Kendall Township. Lattin's 2005 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Kevin L. Nelson, 48, Monroe, struck a deer at 6 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township. Nelson's 2008 Subaru sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Samantha J. Miller, 21, Blanchardville, struck a deer on Everson Road in Argyle Township. Miller's 2014 Toyota sustained minor damage.

On Friday:

• No injuries were reported when Thomas M. White, 51, Burlington, struck a deer at 5:27 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township. White's 2016 Ford received moderate damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Lynette M. Stansfield struck a cow at 6:06 p.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township. Stansfield's 2005 Buick sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Deborah M. Cullen, 54, Shullsburg, struck a deer at 8:41 p.m. on Wis. 11 in New Diggings Township. Cullen's 2004 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported when Debra K. Larson, 61, South Wayne, struck a deer at 7:17 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Wiota Township. Larson's 2007 Ford Explorer sustained moderate damage.

• Injuries were reported at a one-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township. Khalil S. Jones, Daytona Beach, Florida, was traveling north on U.S. 151 when he swerved to miss a deer. Jones' vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. The 2003 Toyota sustained severe damage and was towed.
