NEW GLARUS - Police are seeking information about the driver of a Mercury Sable sedan registered to a person named Pierce Shedivy, related to a two-vehicle crash reported at 7:58 a.m. Monday, May 20. The Mercury Sable backed into a vehicle driven by Holly M. Siegenthaler, New Glarus, in the New Glarus Elementary School parking lot. The drivers exchanged insurance information but the identity of the Mercury Sable driver is unknown. Anyone with information may contact police at 608-527-2145.

MONROE - On Monday, May 27:
Jessica R. Hazelbower, 27, Monroe, and her passengers reported no injuries at 8:47 p.m. after she hit a deer in the N7700 block of Wisconsin 69 in New Glarus Township. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
Greta J. Arndt, 21, Janesville, reported no injuries at 9:46 p.m. after she hit a raccoon on Wis. 104. The vehicle sustained minimal damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON - Geralyn A. McGuire, 61, Darlington, reported no injuries at 8:50 p.m. Friday, May 24, after she hit a deer on Godfrey Road in Willow Springs Township. Her vehicle was moderately damaged.
Tanner J. Schiferl, 18, South Wayne, sustained minor injuries in a rollover crash on Mau Road in Wayne Township at 12:20 a.m. Saturday, May 25. He was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer westbound on Wis. 11 when he began turning northbound onto Mau Road. Because he was driving too fast for the turn, the Ford Explorer went into the ditch and rolled, coming to a rest on its wheels. It was extensively damaged and towed. The three passengers in the vehicle, Bret E. Paulson, 17, Gratiot, and Tyler J. Peterson, 17, and Brayton V. Meythaler, 16, both of South Wayne, reported no injuries. The South Wayne Fire Department and First Response responded to the scene, as did Green County EMS.
Chanelle M. Saxer, 26, Monroe, was later identified as the driver in a hit-and-run accident in South Wayne reported at 5:17 a.m. Saturday, May 25. The accident had occurred sometime overnight. Saxer was northbound on South Warren Street, attempting to turn left onto West High Street, when she lost control. The 2009 Chevrolet she was driving went into a yard and hit a small boat, pushing it into a camper and causing the boat and camper to become stuck. The boat and camper belong to Denis L. Miller, South Wayne, and were moderately damaged. Saxer's Chevrolet was also moderately damaged.
Michael A. Ryan, 60, Blanchardville, reported no injuries at 8:33 a.m. Saturday, May 25, after he hit a deer on Wis. 78 in Blanchard Township. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.
