MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at 4:48 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at 21st Street and 4th Avenue West. A vehicle driven by Brandon G. Mortimer, 20, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Debra O. Johnson, 52, Monroe. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 4:22 p.m. Thursday, May 24, when deputies responded to a N2200 block of Mount Hope Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Samuel L. Wenger, 17, Brodhead, was driving a truck southbound when he reportedly became distracted and lost control of the vehicle. The truck veered into the ditch and hit a fence before coming to rest. The truck was severely damaged and removed from the scene by its owner. Wenger was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt.
