Monroe Police

MONROE - Joseph A. Lartz, 18, Browntown, was arrested for hit and run to property adjacent to the highway, reckless driving, failure to notify police of an accident and underage drinking following a one-vehicle accident around 7 a.m. Monday for a crash that took place around 12:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Ninth Street. Lartz's vehicle received moderate damage. There was minor damage to the business property. Lartz was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Monday at Ninth Street and 13th Avenue. Police report a semi driven by Benjamin G. Benishek, 60, Antigo, hit a traffic signal pole. The semi received minor damage. The street department assisted at the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 4:15 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of West Eighth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Lori L. Voegeli, 48, Monroe, hit a parked vehicle owned by Tracy A. Bristow, Monroe. The vehicles received minor to moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Ninth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Heather A. Hayden, 30, Monroe, hit a gas pump.

DARLINGTON - Donald M. Dean, 16, Lancaster, was driving a vehicle that was pulling a trailer with a salvaged car on it when the dash of the salvaged vehicle came loose and blew out of the car, hitting a vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Weigel, 24, Mineral Point around 8:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. Weigel's vehicle received minor damage.
