MONROE - On Wednesday:
• Deputies responded at 1:06 a.m. to a deer vs. car accident in the W6300 block of Highpoint Road in the Town of Washington. Austin C. Cheeney, 27, Lena, was eastbound when he hit a deer. Cheeney reported no injuries. The vehicle received minor front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
• No injuries were reported at 8:31 p.m. when deputies responded to a deer vs. car accident in the N9100 block of Wisconsin 78 in the Town of York. Lisa M. Goecks, 49, Blanchardville, was traveling southbound on Wis. 78 when two deer entered the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle received severe front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday to W. Bruce Street in Shullsburg for a one-vehicle accident. Todd Hauser, 54, Shullsburg, was traveling westbound when he was distracted and left the roadway and hit a rock wall. Hauser's 2003 Buick received moderate damage.
