Green County Sheriff
MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10 a.m. Thursday on Ringhand Road near Dutch Hollow Road. Deputies report Benjamin M. Chicker, 17, Monticello, lost control of his vehicle negotiating a curve while southbound. The vehicle left the road on the west side and overturned. Chicker was transported to the hospital by private vehicle for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle received severe damage. Chicker was cited for failure to maintain control and for a seatbelt violation.
Timothy A. Schmitt, 44, New Glarus, reported hitting a deer sometime Wednesday evening in the W6200 block of Pioneer Road. Deputies responded around 7:15 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around noon on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot township. Deputies report Pargat S. Bhandohal, 36, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, was operating a semi and began slowing for a vehicle in front of him. Bhandohal then veered in to the opposite lane of traffic where he lost control and traveled into the ditch. The second vehicle did not stop. The semi received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Bhandohal was cited for traveling too fast for conditions.
