Green County Sheriff

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Amy M. Kennedy, 36, Albany, and a deer collided at about 6:14 a.m. Thursday in the W8100 block of County C in the Town of Adams. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 81 at Kathy Road in the Town of Lamont. Deputies report Verna Lee Dorsey, 87, Argyle, failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and became airborne, and then struck a ditch on the opposite side of the culvert. Dorsey and a passenger, Denise Martin, 57, Argyle, were transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for treatment. Information on damage to the vehicle was unavailable.

Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 13th Street and 11th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Nicole R. Zumkehr, 17, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Lisa A. Polnow, 45, Monroe. Zumkehr was cited for inattentive driving.
