Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the N5900 block of Wis. 69, Town of Mount Pleasant at 7:40 p.m. Friday, March 14. Kelly E. Behring, 51, Monroe, was southbound and had started to slow down for a truck pulling a trailer that was driving slowly in front of her. Ellen E. Stichert, 22, Chili, was also southbound on Wis. 69 and had looked down, and when she looked back up noticed Behring's slowing vehicle. Stichert was unable to slow in time and her vehicle collided with the back of Behring's vehicle. Behring's vehicle sustained minor back-end damage and was driven from the scene. Stichert's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday, March 15:

• Mary M. Kaiser, 56, Warren, Ill., was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident in the W8100 block of County Y, Jordan Township 5:06 p.m. Kaiser was westbound on County Y when a deer ran into her vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

• Jon R. Byrd, 41, Monticello, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle collision in the W2200 block of Wis. 92, Brooklyn Township at 8:35 p.m. Byrd was westbound on Wis. 92 when a deer ran into his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate driver's side damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - William A. Anderson, 56, Gratiot, was uninjured in a turkey vs. vehicle accident on County K, Darlington Township at 5:31 p.m Sunday, March 16. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
