MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Monday on Dougherty Road in Adams township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Cory A. Burton, 16, Monticello, swerved to avoid a deer, left the road and hit a tree. Burton sustained injuries and was taken by private vehicle to get medical attention. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 a.m. Monday on East Liberty Street in Belmont. Deputies report a semitrailer driven by Darwin D. Anderson, 60, Clarion, Iowa, was exiting a parking lot when the trailer fell into a culvert. The trailer received minor damage.
• A vehicle driven by Marge M. Carr, 46, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 23 in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damages.
