Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 11:24 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 11th Street and 13th Avenue. Roselyn M. Dietmeier, 83, Orangeville, struck a vehicle driven by Robert F. Eigenberger, 59, Dubuque, Iowa. Dietmeier was cited for failure to yield.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - The names of the victims of a two-vehicle accident at 12:14 p.m. Monday on Wis. 69 were released by officials Tuesday. Timothy A. Finkle, 50, Polo, Ill., was northbound on Wis. 69 at Allison Road on a motorcycle, when Brittany N. Miller, 19, Monroe, made a right turn from Allison Road in front of the motorcycle, causing Finkle to hit Miller's vehicle. There was extensive front-end damage to the vehicle and moderate right-side damage to the motorcycle. The passenger on the motorcycle, Diane J. Miller, 50, Charleston, Ill., sustained injuries and was transported by UW Med Flight from the scene. Brittany Miller sustained injuries and was transported by Monroe EMS to the Monroe Clinic. Neither Finkle nor Diane Miller were wearing helmets. The crash remains under investigation.

- No injuries reported during a one-vehicle accident at 1:48 p.m. Monday in the west 6100 block of Legler Valley Road in the Town of New Glarus. Joseph C. Vespo, 23, New Glarus, was going eastbound when he hit a deer. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries reported during a two-vehicle accident at 3:40 p.m. Monday on Milwaukee Street in the Village of Argyle. Rebecca S. Kruse, 69, Argyle, was northbound on Broad Street, where she failed to yield the right of way when pulling onto Milwaukee Street. Kruse hit a vehicle driven by Konnie L. Carley, 48, Dodgeville. Both vehicles received moderate damage.
