Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about noon Friday at Eighth Avenue and Eight Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Carolyn J. Rawson, 61, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Terry R. Faith, 42, Monroe. The vehicles received moderate to extensive damage. Rawson sustained an injury but declined medical attention. She was cited for inattentive driving.

MONROE - One person was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident on private property at about 8 a.m. Friday in the W6900 block of County H. Deputies report Clark W. Kepplinger, 65, New Glarus, was herding cattle when the ATV hit some rough terrain and overturned. He sustained minor injuries.

• A vehicle driven by Jill T. Zimmerman, 51, Dakota, Ill., hit a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 59 near County SS in Sylvester township. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A vehicle driven by Gregory P. Bettin, 42, Monticello, hit a deer at about 10:30 p.m. Friday in the N7800 block of Wis. 69 in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received minor damage.
