MONROE - Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of 9th Street and 13th Avenue. Harley A. Boeck, 21, Monroe, was eastbound on 9th Street turning onto 13th Street when his vehicle was hit by a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital. Boeck was cited at 11:28 a.m. Saturday for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn.

MONROE - On Friday:
Tim Allen, 18, Juda, was uninjured in a deer vs. pick-up accident on County KS west of Brunkow Road, Town of Jefferson, at 1:54 p.m. Allen was eastbound on County KS when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the passenger side of his truck. The truck sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 69 at Old Madison Road, New Glarus Township. Vernon W. Harris, 61, New Glarus, was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Old Madison Road when a second vehicle driven by Drew E. Ostby, 16, New Glarus, attempted to pass Harris on the left side. Harris' vehicle hit the passenger side of Ostby's vehicle. Harris' vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Ostby's vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Ostby was cited at 4:21 p.m. for passing a vehicle indicating a left turn and was released pending court.
On Saturday:
Turk D. Olson, 53, New Glarus, was injured but refused treatment following a deer vs. motorcycle accident in the W5900 block of Wis. 39, New Glarus Township, at 1:42 a.m. Olson was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his motorcycle. The bike was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
Christopher M. Malkow, 22, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash on County FF east of Statz Road, Town of Sylvester, at 4:59 a.m. Malkow was eastbound on County FF when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
David A. Hanus, 23, Janesville, and his four passengers were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of County E and Miller Lane, Decatur Township. Hanus was eastbound on County E when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the east side of the roadway and hit a fence. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene. Hanus was cited at 9:05 p.m. for failure to have a vehicle under control and for inattentive driving. He was released pending court.
Mark W. Miller, 3, New Glarus, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash in the N7700 block of Wis. 69, New Glarus Township, at 9:39 p.m. Miller was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. Miller and his passenger reported no injuries. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
Michael S. Stewart, 60, Browntown, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident in the N2300 block of Allen Road, Cadiz Township, at 11:23 p.m. Stewart was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on County U, Seymour Township. Katelyn M. Salisbury, 21, Shullsburg, was southbound when her vehicle left the roadway onto the west shoulder. She then attempted to correct and crossed the roadway, hitting a guardrail on the east side of the highway. The vehicle then went over the guardrail and into the ditch. Salisbury then drove through a soybean field and attempted to leave the scene. She was cited at 8:17 a.m. for failure to keep control of a vehicle and failure to notify law enforcement of an accident.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township, at 4:17 p.m. Louise McGranahan, 68, Darlington, was eastbound when the back of her vehicle was hit by a vehicle driven by Gerald E. Williams, 69, Waverly, Iowa. McGranahan's 2012 Ford Focus sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On Saturday:
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Furnace Hill Road. Tracy L. Wiegel, 49, Darlington, pulled into a private driveway and hit a vehicle. Wiegel was arrested at 6:48 p.m. for driving while intoxicated and cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle. He was released to a responsible party.
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on County A, Shullsburg Township, at 5:10 p.m. Wayne P. Schollmeyer, 65, Bellevue, Iowa, pulled into a field to turn around and dropped off into a ditch. Schollmeyer's 1996 Coachmen motorhome was towed out of the ditch.
A deputy responded at 11:42 p.m. to a hit-and-run to a residence on Sheldon Street, Village of Gratiot. The incident remains under investigation.
On Sunday:
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Pleasant Drive Road, Wiota Township, at 6:05 p.m. Brandi J. Baumgartner, 43, South Wayne, hit a power pole that was in the roadway.
No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on West Water Street, Shullsburg. Gabriel Cocon-Xinco, 20, Darlington, was westbound when he hit a light pole. Cocon-Xinco was arrested at 11:53 p.m. for DWI and for driving left of center. He was jailed pending court.
