MONROE - An unnamed 33-year-old woman from Monroe sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the 1600 block of 9th Street at 9:22 a.m. Thursday. The woman was driving a vehicle that hit an unoccupied parked vehicle and trailer. The driver declined medical treatment for her injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

MONROE - No injuries were reported Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 69 north of Wuetrich Road, Town of Clarno. Frederick V. Krueger, 64, Machesney Park, Ill., was northbound on Wis. 69 when he reportedly fell asleep and hit an unoccupied parked vehicle owned by Kenneth A. Groezinger, 66, Shannon, Ill. Both vehicles were disabled by the crash, had severe damage and were towed from the scene. Krueger was cited at 9:54 p.m. for failure to keep a vehicle under control and released pending court.

DARLINGTON - Nikalas D. Whitcher, 16, Cuba City, was uninjured after his vehicle hit a wall of a building on East Main Street, Benton. Whitcher was attempting to leave from a parking lot when his 2003 Chevrolet hit the exterior wall of a business. The vehicle sustained minor damage and the building sustained very minor damage. Whitcher was cited at 5:04 p.m. for no valid driver's license.
