Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a car versus deer accident at about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the W3400 block of Wisconsin 11. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Angela M. Benway, 28, Monroe, hit a deer. She was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. The car received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:30 p.m. Monday on Wis. 11 east of County MM. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brianna M. Einbeck, 18, Monroe, swerved to avoid a "family of raccoons" on the road, went down an embankment and hit a fence, coming to rest in 3 feet of water. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jamie E. Smith, 24, Blanchardville, hit a deer around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the W6500 block of Wisconsin 39 in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by William J. Loeffelholz, 43, New Glarus, hit a deer at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the W5000 block of Exeter Crossing Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A 14-year-old Darlington male was cited for driving without a license following a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday on County Z in Darlington township. Deputies report the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch and overturned. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
