New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the New Glarus Elementary School. Police report a vehicle driven by Kathryn P. Ingwell, 38, New Glarus, backed into a school bus. Ingwell's vehicle received moderate damage and the bus received minor damage.

• Police assisted in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 39 near Hay Hollow Road. Police report a vehicle driven by John C. Heft, 19, Blanchardville, failed to negotiate a curve and hit a mailbox. The vehicle received a broken windshield and a dent in the hood. The matter was turned over to the Green County Sheriff's Department.

• Police are investigating a hit-and-run reported at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on 10th Avenue near 4th Street. Police report a vehicle owned by Nessa G. Severson, 23, New Glarus, was hit by a vehicle, which then left the scene. Severson's vehicle received moderate damage.

• Police assisted with a one-vehicle accident at about midnight Sunday on Wisconsin 69 near County H. Police report a vehicle driven by Jeremy A. Hathaway, 30, Arlington, hit a deer. The vehicle received minor damage. The accident report was later turned over to the Green County Sheriff's Department.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday in the W3000 block of Oliver Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mark A. Flood, 43, Albany, left the road, went into a ditch and hit some small trees. Flood sustained injuries but declined medical attention. He was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The vehicle received extensive damages and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Jeffery G. Klubertanz, 44, Madison, collided with a deer at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the N6100 block of Wis. 59. The vehicle received moderate damage.
