MONROE - No injuries and moderate vehicle damage was reported in a two-vehicle collision at 2:25 p.m. Thursday, July 5, in the 1100 block of 13th Avenue. Ryan J. Austin, 25, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Irene E. Hanson, 75, Monroe.

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the 700 block of Washington Road in Monticello at 4:35 a.m. Thursday, July 5. Bonnie L. Nash, 35, Monticello, was pulling into her neighbor's driveway as part of a three-point turning maneuver when her foot became stuck on the accelerator pedal. The vehicle accelerated and hit a parked vehicle belonging to Kristopher E. Hasler, 27, Monticello, pushing it into the garage. The garage sustained minor damage. The Nash vehicle was severely damaged and left at the scene. The Hasler vehicle sustained minor to moderate damage and was left at the scene.
James W. Loften, Albany, 89, was extricated by the Albany Fire Department and transported with injuries by Albany EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER following a one-car crash at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, July 5, in the Town of Albany. Loften was southbound in the N6300 block of Tin Can Road when he said he must have fallen asleep. The car went into the east ditch and hit a tree, then came to a rest on the road. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.
