MONROE - On Tuesday:
Laura E Piscotti, 23, Orangeville, Ill., was injured and taken to the hospital following a one-vehicle rollover crash with airbag deployment at 1:38 p.m. on Wisconsin 69 at Washington Road in the Town of Washington. She reportedly lost control of her vehicle, which veered off the road and into an embankment and overturned. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
Debra A. Schneider, 60, Rock City, Ill., and Carrie S. Espenschied, 44, Freeport, were the drivers of two cars involved in a crash with airbag deployment at 4:16 p.m. in the N1100 block of County S in the Town of Jordan. Schneider reportedly lost control on the fresh pea-graveled road, crossed the center line and hit Espenschied's car. Espenschied and a passenger, Corbin J. Mann, 11, Freeport, were reportedly injured but declined immediate medical attention. Schneider's car sustained severe damage and Espenschied's car sustained moderate damage. Both cars were towed. Schneider was cited for failing to keep a vehicle under control and was released pending court.
Fermin O. Castro, 29, Beloit, was injured and taken to the hospital following a one-vehicle motorcycle crash at 6:12 p.m. on County E at St. John Road in the Town of Decatur. Castro reportedly lost control while negotiating a curve, and his bike went into a ditch before going airborne and landing in a field. Castro was reportedly ejected from the motorcycle, which sustained moderate damage and was towed.
