MONROE - A 16-year-old female from Monticello was uninjured after her vehicle hit a mailbox on Advance Road, Town of Clarno, at 10:24 p.m. Thursday. The girl was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and the girl swerved to miss the deer. The vehicle hit a mailbox on the north side of the road. Her vehicle was sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
