Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident at about 5:25 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Ninth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Eric V. Boyd, 23, Monroe, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Mary L. Hamilton, 65, Monroe. Hamilton's vehicle was pushed into a vehicle driven by Nicholas J. Bahn, 20, Monroe. Hamilton sustained injuries but declined medical transport. Boyd was cited for inattentive driving. His vehicle received extensive damage. The other two vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:45 a.m. Saturday on County F and River Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Joshua L. Brugger, 21, Monroe, swerved to avoid a deer, hit a guardrail and came to rest in a creek. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3 p.m. Thursday on Sixth Avenue near First Street. Police report a truck pulling a hay bine, driven by Charles H. Miess, 61, Mount Horeb, hit a parked vehicle owned by Renee L. Horlock, 64, Palantine, Ill. Horlock's vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Sunday on County D in Fayette township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by James A. Starr, 48, Dodgeville, crested a hill and failed to negotiate a curve. His motorcycle tipped over and Starr was thrown. Rural Medical Ambulance transported Starr to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County and he was later taken by MedFlight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. The motorcycle received moderate damage.

• Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on County W in New Diggings township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Thomas H. Albee, 36, Cuba City, hit a deer. Both Albee and his passenger, Bridget A. Curran, 31, Darlington, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were taken to Southwest Healthcare for injuries.

• Keith A. Black, 25, Mount Horeb, was arrested for drunken driving, driving after suspension and failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 12:45 a.m. Friday on County F in Fayette township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road and overturned in a ditch. He was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for minor injuries.

• Two people were cited following a report of a vehicle in a ditch at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday on County K in Darlington township. Anotnio Alonzo Pratz, 23, Darlington, was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle and driving without a driver's license. A second driver, who came to assist Alonzo Pratz in removing his vehicle from the ditch, Colorado Martinez, 30, Chicago, was cited for driving without a valid license.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a farm tractor driven by Jeffrey P. Mair, 51, Gratiot, hit a parked vehicle driven by Sandra Gobeli, Woodford.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 11 in Wayne township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Matthew J. Scott, 19, Monroe, swerved to avoid several deer in the road, left the road and went into a ditch. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Robby W. Nielsen, 31, Blanchardville, swerved to avoid a deer and hit a guardrail. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Rachel Cummings, 30, Blanchardville, hit a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Blanchard township. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Richard A. Gifford, 73, Blanchardville, hit a cow around 9:45 p.m. Saturday on County F in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Aaron A. Abraham, 24, Darlington, hit a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Spore Road in Argyle township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jessica J. Hubner, 22, Darlington, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 23 in willow springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
