MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 12:15 a.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 11 near County GG. When deputies arrived they discovered the driver and vehicle were gone. Deputies learned later the vehicle was driven by Eric J. Ball, 36, Brodhead, who was taken to Monroe Clinic for non-life threatening injuries. No further information was available. The crash remains under investigation.
• A vehicle driven by Jay J. Erickson, 46, Browntown, hit a deer around 1:15 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 near Patterson Road. The vehicle received moderate damages.
