GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Seven people were injured in a two-vehicle accident around 9:45 p.m. Thursday on Wisconsin 69 near County P in Clarno township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Juantino Aguilar, 23, Freeport, began to slide in the slush and snow, crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Michael D. Cantrell, 46, Freeport. Cantrell and his passengers, Ruthy K. Cantrell, 13, Scott C. Longrie, 26, and Sherri A. Bonilla, 30, all of Freeport, as well as Aguilar and his passengers, Jose Oregel, 30 and Neveah Suess, 1, also of Freeport, were taken to hospitals in Freeport and Monroe. Aguilar and Oregel had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 5:30 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 west of Steiner Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mary L. Neuenschwander, 46, Browntown, slid off the road and overturned. Neuenschwander was taken to Monroe Clinic for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 104 north of English Settlement Road in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by David T. Veeder, 40, Albany, went off the road and hit a culvert due to slippery road conditions. Veeder sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital by Albany Emergency medical Services. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7:15 a.m. Thursday on County W west of Wis. 69. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Diane I. Baxter, 52, failed to negotiate a curve due to slippery road conditions and overturned. Baxter sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison by Belleville EMS. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 1:15 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 69 at County FF. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Zachary W. Jenson, 19, Monroe, was attempting to make a U-turn and hit a vehicle driven by James D. Thalacker, 74, Monroe. Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed. Jenson was cited for inattentive driving and released pending court.

• No one was injured in a two vehicle accident around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 69 near Advance Road in Clarno township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Casey J. Kolosky, 18, Freeport, Ill., slid into the ditch due to slippery conditions. A passing motorist stopped to help Kolosky pull his vehicle from the ditch. A third vehicle, driven by Joey D. Lomas, 60, Winslow, swerved to avoid the assisting motorist's vehicle, went into the ditch and hit Kolosky's vehicle. Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed. Lomas was cited for driving with a suspended license and released pending court.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 6:15 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a semi driven by James A. Corley, 49, Darlington, failed to negotiate a curve due to slippery road conditions and tipped over onto its side.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 9:15 p.m. Thursday on Roller Coaster Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brad W. Schlappi, 50, Darlington, left the road, hit a fence and rolled over due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle was towed.

•No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Cameron W. Todd, 17, South Wayne, left the road and hit a sign due to slippery road conditions.
