MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:16 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 5th Street and 11th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Sarah A. Ruegegger, 25, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Elicia K. Frie, 17, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Snow and ice covered roads were contributing factors to the accident, according to police reports.

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:57 p.m. Monday on Aebly Road at Iliff Road, Town of Monroe. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Steven L. Geiger, 60, rural Monroe, was northbound on Aebly Road when he slowed to turn west on to Iliff Road. A vehicle operated by Richard D. Dauck, 74, Monroe, was northbound behind the Geiger vehicle and could not stop in time due to the snow-covered slippery road, colliding with Geiger. Dauck sustained injuries from the crash. Geiger was not injured. Dauck's vehicle received extensive front-end damage and was towed from the scene. Geiger's vehicle received moderate rear damage and was driven from the scene.
- One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:18 p.m. Monday on County EE, east of Conservation Road, Town of Albany. Deputies report a vehicle operated Elizabeth M. Ritschard, 16, Argyle, was southbound on County EE and lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve. Ritschard overcorrected, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and overturn. Ritschard sustained injuries; the vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene. Albany Police also responded.
- No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 2:03 p.m. Monday in the N8200 block of Zentner Road, Town of New Glarus. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Evan Riley Dorn, 17, rural new Glarus, was northbound on Zentner Road when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle traveled off the road and collided with a power pole. The vehicle received moderate front and driver's side damage and was driven from the scene. Deputies determined the snow-covered roadway was a contributing factor to the crash.
- No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 2:38 p.m. Monday on County N, south of County NN, Town of New Glarus. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Allison R. Eicher, 16, Monticello, was traveling on County N when she lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle slid in the ditch and collided with a tree. Eicher was not injured. The vehicle received moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
- No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:19 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 11 at County S, Town of Jefferson. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Roger C. Green, 63, Brodhead, was northbound on County S and stopped at the stop sign for Wis. 11. He proceeded through the stop sign and collided with an eastbound vehicle operated by Karen A. Craigo, 65, Monroe. Craigo's vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Green's vehicle received moderate damage and was removed from the scene. Green was cited for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign and released pending court.
- No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:36 p.m. Monday in the N6600 block of Attica Road, Town of Albany. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Paige A. Beck, 43, Albany, was northbound on Attica Road when she tried to slow down while negotiating a curve. Beck began to slide on the snow-covered roadway, causing her vehicle to slide into the ditch, collide with a tree and then a fence. The vehicle received severe front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
- No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:46 p.m. Monday in the N7900 block of Wis. 104, Town of Brooklyn. Deputies report a vehicle operated by Misty D. Blair, 41, Davis, Ill., was southbound on Wis. 104 when her vehicle began to fishtail while going up a hill. The vehicle entered the west ditch where it overturned. Blair was extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Evansville Fire, EMS and Police also responded.
