Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eighth Street and Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Bobby L. Voegeli, 16, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Mary C. Silberschlag, 52, Monroe. Voegeli's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 11 at County G. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert W. Holst, 53, Monroe, was attempting to pass a vehicle driven by Melvin C. Reckamp, 60, Juda, that had stopped in the road to make a turn, when it hit Reckamp's vehicle. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Holst's vehicle was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8 a.m. Tuesday on Sawmill Road south of County H. Deputies report a truck driven by Gregory K. Lattin, 42, Blanchardville, was northbound pulling a gravity box when the truck began to slide due to slippery roads. The gravity box jack-knifed, swung around and hit the truck causing moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the N5900 block of Wis. 69. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Annalisa M. Carlino, 16, Monticello, hit the mailbox of her residence. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Susan A. Way, 44, of rural New Glarus, hit a deer around 6:30 a.m. Monday on Wis. 69 near Peerless Road in New Glarus township. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 6:15 p.m. Monday on Wis. 81 in Darlington Township. A vehicle operated by Thomas C. Ekena, 38, Monroe, was attempting to pass a vehicle driven by Jason A. Schuetz, 35, Darlington, attempting to turn left. Schuetz's 2000 Buick Regal received moderate damage. Ekena's 1999 Freightliner semi received minor damage. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10 a.m. Monday on South Prairie Road in Monticello township. Wisconsin State Patrol assisted; no further information was available.

• The Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at an accident around 2 p.m. Saturday on County K in Darlington Township. Brenda L. Poss, 46, Gratiot, lost control of her vehicle due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled over. The 1997 Mercury received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. No reports of injuries were available.

• Jason J. Durr, 30, Platteville, lost control of his vehicle on a curve while crossing a bridge due to slippery road conditions around 3:30 p.m. Friday on Wis. 151 in Kendall township. The vehicle went down a steep embankment and overturned twice. Durr refused medical treatment. The 1994 Chevy Cavalier received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover around 8 p.m. Friday on County W in Benton township. Katie L. Clendenen, 17, Hazel Green, lost control on a slight curve, slid into the ditch and rolled over. She was cited for operating while suspended and violating a graduated driver's license restriction. Passenger, Ann M. Clendenen, 41, Hazel Green, was cited for allowing an unauthorized person to drive. The 1999 Ford Explorer was towed from the scene. The Benton First Response, Benton Fire Department and Hazel Green Ambulance responded to the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 8:30 p.m. Friday in the village of Argyle. Timothy K. Lattin, 19, Argyle, was transported to Lafayette County Jail for operating while intoxicated. Lattin also had a valid Lafayette County warrant, on which he posted bond and was released.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - New Glarus officers assisted Belleville Police around 7:45 a.m. Jan. 31 in locating a semi-tractor trailer unit involved in a hit-and-run accident in Belleville. Officers identified the driver and referred the matter to the Belleville Police for further action.

• Kristine A. Pryor, 34, New Glarus, was cited for mandatory seatbelt violation around 9:30 p.m. Feb. 1 on Second Street near 14th Avenue.
