Green County Sheriff
MONROE - On Feb. 1:
• Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 11:24 p.m. in the W500 block of Wis. 81 in the Town of Spring Grove. Jody L. Ward, 46, Beloit, was westbound on Wis. 81 when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a utility pole. Ward's vehicle then overturned and started on fire. Ward was able to exit the vehicle. The Brodhead Fire Department extinguished the fire. Ward was transported by Brodhead EMS to Janesville Mercy. Ward was cited for operating after revocation (3rd offense, criminal), failure to keep vehicle under control, unreasonable and imprudent speed, and unsafe lane deviation. Ward was released pending court. The vehicle sutained severe damage and was towed. Brodhead Police, Brodhead Fire and Brodhead EMS also responded.

DARLINGTON - On Feb. 1:
• No injuries were reported when Cherie R. Cornwell, 43, Clintonville, Iowa, struck a deer at 9:14 p.m. on County B in Wayne Township. Cornwell's 2007 Saturn sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
• Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 10:18 p.m. on County J in Benton Township. Kristin E. Kachlik, 29, Benton, was traveling southbound on County J when she swerved to miss a deer causing her to lose control of her vehicle, entered the ditch line and striking a tree. Kachlik's 2012 Jeep Liberty sustained severe damage and was towed. Kachlik was cited for failure to have control.
