MONROE - On Feb. 26:
• Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 7:52 p.m. in the W2200 block of County EE in the Town of Albany. Elexis S. Mendelski, 16, New Glarus, was westbound on County EE when she reported that she fell asleep. Mendelski's vehicle left the road and entered the ditch and overturned. Mendelski was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to the Monroe ER. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Mendelski was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and was released pending court. Albany Police, Albany EMS, and Albany Fire Department also responded.
