MONROE POLICE
MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at 13th Street and County K. Police report a vehicle driven by Louis R. Armstrong, 44, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Karalee R. Phillips, 38, Monroe. Armstrong was cited for driving too fast for conditions. The vehicles received moderate damage.

MONROE - Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident at about 7 a.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 69 south of County H. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Christopher E. Sibole, 47, Marshall, went into the opposite lane due to snow and ice on the road and sideswiped a vehicle driven by David W. Stettner, 58, Shannon, Ill. Sibole's vehicle then spun around and was hit by a vehicle driven by Steven M. Heitz II, 24, Freeport, Ill. Heitz sustained injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Service. Stettner sustained an injury but declined medical treatment. All the vehicles were towed from the scene.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Wednesday on County E near Race Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brent P. Baxter, 16, Brodhead, failed to negotiate a curve and slid off the road into a ditch due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
