MONROE - John V. Utterback, 61, of rural Monticello, was transported to the V.A. Hospital in Madison after deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 5:08 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in the W7100 block of County H in the Town of New Glarus. Utterback reportedly lost control on the ice-covered road and overturned once. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported at 6:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after Tonya K. Briggs, 39, Monroe, swerved to avoid a deer on Wisconsin 81 south of Sylverster Road in the Town of Sylvester. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported at 6:44 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after Wendy K. Peschl, 55, Belleville, failed to negotiate an icy curve with her vehicle on Wisconsin 92 east of Sandyhook Road in the Town of Brooklyn and slid off the road, spun around and hit a tree stump. Peschl's car was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported at 6:48 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after Susan B. Cheesebro, 39, of rural Monticello, slid off the icy road on County C west of County N in the Town of Washington and hit a power pole. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported at 7:58 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after Sun A. Lokrantz, 56, Evansville, failed to negotiate an icy curve on Wis. 92 east of Sandyhook Road in the Town of Brooklyn and slid off the road, striking a transformer on a power pole. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. Alliant Energy was notified about the damaged transformer.
- Robert D. Fenrick, 71, Milton, was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER for injuries after deputies responded at 8:52 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, to Equity Livestock, N1365 Wis. 69 in the Town of Clarno. Fenrick was reportedly parked by the building when his vehicle came out of park and rolled through the parking lot and over an embankment. While he chased after it to stop it, a trailer on the vehicle ran over him.

DARLINGTON - Jason L. Timmerman, 39, Cuba City, reported at 3:43 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12 that he hit a deer on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.
