Green County Sheriff

• Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Allen Road and Franklin Road in the Town of Cadiz at 9:54 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24. Richard L. Woodruff, 52, rural Browntown, pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Tabitha L. Kuppersmith, 31, rural Browntown. Both declined medical treatment at the scene. The vehicles were severely damaged and towed. The ice-covered road was a factor in the crash.

• Roberta R. Stricker, 39, Browntown, was transported by Green County EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle crash in the W8000 block of County B in the Town of Cadiz at 3:23 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. Her husband, Chad J. Stricker, 40, also of Browntown, was driving the vehicle eastbound when he hit some snow or ice in the road and lost control. The vehicle hit a snowbank, partially overturned and then became stuck. He reported minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to a hospital. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Alfred B. Ordman, 64, Monticello, was not injured when he collided with two deer that ran in front of his vehicle on County N south of Buehler Road in the Town of Monroe. Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 12:37 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25. Ordman's vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

• Stephanie L. Johnson, 34, Argyle, reported no injuries from a car vs. deer crash in the W8500 block of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Jordan at 4:33 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26. The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the right side front bumper area and was driven from the scene.

• Amber K. Gauger, 34, Belleville, was taken by Belleville EMS to a Madison hospital after a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 92 north of Hillcrest Road in the Town of Exeter at 8:48 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. The passenger side of the vehicle went off the right side of the highway, then the deep snow pulled the vehicle further, causing it to run over a fire number post and sideswipe a utility pole. The vehicle sustained severe damage to the passenger side and was towed.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1000 block of 9th Street at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Russel B. Atkinson, 78, Brodhead, and Tyler L. Blumer, 18, Monroe, collided. The impact caused moderate damage to both vehicles.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Kane R. Loken, 16, Darlington, reported at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, that he hit a deer on Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington.

• Jerilynne K. Woodward, 63, Shullsburg, reported no injuries and moderate vehicle damage at 7:28 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, after she hit a deer on County I in the Town of New Diggings.

• Shauna L. Eichelkraut, 17, Monticello, reported no injuries at 10:19 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, after she hit a deer on Wis. 78 in the Town of Argyle. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• John A. Schmaedick, 52, Darlington, reported no injuries at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, after he hit a deer on Wis. 11 in the Town of New Diggings. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.
