MONROE - No injuries were reported during a vehicle vs. deer accident at 3:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 in the W5100 block of Wisconsin 11/81 in Monroe Township. Roberta K. Perkins, 37, Rockton, Ill., was westbound on Wis. 11/81 when a deer hit her vehicle. Perkins' vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 4:26 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 on Wis. 69. Lynn P. Nimsomboon, 37, Brodhead, was southbound on Wis. 69 when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. Nimsomboon was injured in the crash and was taken to MCER for treatment of her injuries. Nimsomboon was wearing her seatbelt. The vehicle received severe damage and no airbags were deployed. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 11:27 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 when deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Wis. 11, east of Carnie Road, in the Town of Monroe. Garrett L. Giannatti, 25, South Wayne, was westbound on Wis. 11 when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle rolled over and come to a rest on its side. The vehicle had moderate damage and it was towed from the scene.

• Joshua Foster Varrieur, 34, Belleville, was arrested for a third offense of driving while intoxicated after deputies from Green and Dane County and Belleville Fire and EMS were called to a vehicle accident at 4:27 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 in the 600 block of Sugar Avenue in the Village of Belleville in Green County. Varrieur was westbound on Sugar Avenue when he collided with a legally parked vehicle. Varrieur was transported to Meriter ER by Belleville EMS for possible injuries. After he was discharged, Varrieur was transported to the Green County Jail. Varrieur was also issued a citation for inattentive driving. Varrieur remains jailed pending bond or court.

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 on Wis. 11/81, east of County OK, in the Town of Spring Grove. Shawn M. Cook, 40, Brodhead, lost control of her vehicle on ice covered road. The vehicle left the road and hit the embankment. The vehicle had moderate damage and it was towed from the scene.

• Injuries were reported during a rollover one-vehicle accident at 7:14 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 on Wis. 69, north of Holloway Road, in the Town of Washington. Andrew Ryan Kubly, 26, Monroe, was northbound on Wis. 69 when he lost control of his vehicle on ice. The vehicle slid across Wis. 69, slid into the southbound ditch and rolled onto its side. The vehicle had moderate damage and it was towed from the scene. Kubly reported wearing his seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment. He was transported to MCER by private vehicle.

• No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 11:03 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the intersection of County E and Golf Course Road in Decatur Township. Chad A. Gartwaite, 42, Brodhead, was pulling away from the stop sign on Golf Course Road to turn south onto County E when a second vehicle, driven by Jason T. Meehan, 32, Orfordville, hit Gartwaite's vehicle while turning left from County E onto Golf Course Road. Both vehicles had moderate front and driver's side damages and were driven from the scene. Meehan was cited for driving with a revoked driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance. He was released.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from one-vehicle accident 9:28 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20 County O in Seymour Township. Brittni M. Gleason, 21, Shullsburg, was southbound on County O when she lost control due to the icy roadway. Gleason's vehicle crossed the roadway and went into the opposite ditch, where it then traveled across the intersection of Wardsville Road and came to rest in a ditch. The 2001 Pontiac received moderate damage and was driven from the scene after removal from the ditch by a tow service.

• Injuries were reported during at two-vehicle accident at 4:14 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 on Trotter Road in Wiota Township. Norman J. Notter, 67, Argyle, was eastbound on Trotter Road when he lost control on the icy roadway. The vehicle traveled into the opposite lane and hit a vehicle head-on. The other vehicle was driven by Gerri J. Valley, 49, Argyle. Notter was not wearing a seatbelt and received serious injuries. He was transported by Argyle Ambulance to Monroe Clinic Hospital. Valley received non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Blanchardville EMS. Both Notter's 1987 Toyota pick-up truck and Valley's 2004 Chevrolet pick-up truck received extensive damage and were towed from the scene.

• A deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 7 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township. The driver reported no injuries and no damages to the vehicle.
