MONROE - Katlin N. Paige, 20, Monroe, was cited at 11:11 a.m. Friday for unsafe backing following a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 700 block of 17th Street. Paige was driving a vehicle that hit a second vehicle driven by a Monroe man. Moderate damage was reported on both vehicles.

MONROE - On Friday:
Nicholas C. Raemisch, 17, Brooklyn, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash in the 100 block of Church Street, Village of Brooklyn, at 8:24 a.m. Raemisch was negotiating a curve and lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway and hit a light pole. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Raemisch was warned for driving too fast for conditions.
Grace Katherine Moehn, 16, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the W4700 block of Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester, at 12:39 p.m. Moehn was eastbound and lost control of her vehicle in a curve due to the icy roadway and hit a bridge warning sign before her vehicle hit some trees. Moehn reported she bumped her knee but was not in pain. The vehcile was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.
Adair B. Bristow, 26, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W7200 block of Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe, at 6:17 p.m. Bristow was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Ronald L. Hanson, 64, Milwaukee, was eastbound on Wis. 81 and hit the same deer that Bristow had hit. His vehicle was moderately damaged and was later removed from the scene. Hanson tagged the deer.
Mary M. Lincoln, 62, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W4800 block of Wisconsin 104, Town of Albany, at 10:40 p.m.. Lincoln was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
On Saturday:
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 81 at County N, Town of Monroe. Lawrence J. Hefty, 85, New Glarus, was northbound on County N and went through the stop sign into the westbound lane where his vehcile was hit by a vehicle driven by Tracy J. Magellan, 46, Monroe. Hefty was cited at 2:01 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign and released pending court. Both vehicles were moderately damaged; Hefty drove his vehicle from the scene and Magellan's vehicle was towed.
Angelique D. Ellenson, 30, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W4800 block of County J, Town of Monroe, at 6:37 p.m. Ellenson was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:
Melissa R. Sargent, 45, Apple River, Ill., reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 78, Gratiot Township, at 6:25 a.m.
Kyle L. Woodruff, 20, Browntown, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Jefferson Road, Benton Township, at 5:12 p.m.
On Saturday:
A deputy responded at 1:52 p.m. to a traffic complaint of four-wheelers driving erratically on County K, Darlington Township.
Richard S. Blau, 51, Argyle, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on County F, Blanchard Township, at 5:30 p.m.
On Sunday:
Carole M. Zweifel, 82, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wis. 78, Argyle Township, at 1:50 p.m.
A deputy responded to a traffic complaint of an erratic driver on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 6:03 p.m.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Wis. 69 at County W, Village of New Glarus, at 2:25 p.m. Thursday. Cody F. Kieffer, 26, Verona, reported he was northbound on Wis. 69 and fell asleep causing his vehicle to enter the southbound lane and hit another vehicle head-on. Kieffer was cited for inattentive driving and driving left of center. Both vehicles were totaled and towed by a flat-bed towing service.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue, Village of New Glarus. Aric J. Karlen, 25, Monticello, had pulled his pickup truck onto Wis. 69 in front of a SUV driven by Todd R. Schnoor, 51, Tulsa, Okla. Moderate to severe damage was reported from both vehicles. Karlen was cited at 11:26 p.m. Friday for an improper turn on a red light.
