GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - On Friday:
No injuries were reported at 12:06 a.m. after Dana J. Kehoe, 18, Monroe, swerved to avoid an animal and drove into a ditch at the intersection of Wisconsin 11 and Schuetz Road, Town of Monroe. Kehoe was cited for failing to maintain control of the vehicle, while the vehicle was towed from the scene with moderate damage.
No injuries were reported after JoAnn K. Lancaster, 46, Monroe, struck a deer in the W7500 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan.
On Saturday:
No injuries were reported at 7:25 a.m. after Jonathan B. Brown, 37, Mexico, Missouri, struck a utility pole after swerving to avoid a deer in the N4500 block of County E, Town of Decatur. Brown then drove from the scene and was later cited for committing a hit-and-run, failing to notify police of a crash, lane deviation, driving left of the center line and driving too fast for conditions.
A driver and three passengers were injured at 11:39 p.m. after a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of County C and Brooklyn-Albany Road, Town of Brooklyn. Mitchell P. Moran, 26, Evansville, failed to negotiate a curve, causing his vehicle to overturn. Moran was injured but declined treatment, as did two other passengers. A third passenger, Rebecca J. Winkers, 29, Belleville, was injured and transported to a local hospital. Moran was arrested for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and driving too fast for road conditions. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
On Sunday, a driver, a motorcyclist and a passenger were injured at 10:59 a.m. after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wis. 11 and Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. Melody A. Deane, 54, Monroe, drove into the path of a motorcycle driven by Paul L. Marzahl, 47, Janesville. Marzahl and Deane were injured but declined treatment. A passenger on the motorcycle, Linda K. Topp, 47, Edgerton, was also injured and was transported to a local hospital. Deane was cited for failing to yield from a stop sign, while Marzahl was cited for driving without a valid motorcycle license. Deane's vehicle was driven from the scene with moderate damage, while the motorcycle was towed with severe damage.

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:
No injuries were reported at 6 a.m. after Olivia I. Ruesga, 19, Darlington, struck a deer on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
No injuries were reported at 9:02 p.m. after Dean R. Brooker, 59, Warren, Illinois, struck a deer on County DD, Town of Wayne. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
