MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the W800 block of Wisconsin 92. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael R. Tarala, 33, Brooklyn, left the road, hit a mailbox and went into a field after Tarala fell asleep. He was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and inattentive driving. He was taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries. Tarala was released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

DARLINGTON - Mai Chou Xiong, 21, Eau Claire, was arrested for drunken driving and open intoxicants in a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday on County F in Fayette township. Deputies report her vehicle left the road and went down an embankment. No further information was available.
Victor J. Mendoza, 32, Platteville, was arrested for drunken driving, driving without a license and failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 4:45 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 in Seymour township. He was jailed.
