NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - James R. Patterson Jr., 48, Belleville, and Robert. J. Rossing, 25, Mineral Point, reported being in a two-vehicle crash at 4:36 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.

• Shawn T. Dunning, 52, Saint Charles, Ill., and Hunter S. Lettman, 21, New Glarus, reported being in a two-car crash at 5:01 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 2nd Street. No injuries were reported. Dunning was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. Lettman was cited for a registration violation. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Christopher J. Steinmetz, 37, and Jennifer A. Taylor, 24, both of Westby, were injured and hospitalized after a one-vehicle motorcycle crash at 7:42 p.m. Saturday in the W6400 block of Patterson Road in the Town of Clarno. Steinmetz reportedly lost control while negotiating a curve, the motorcycle started to slide and they were ejected. They were not wearing helmets but were wearing eye protection. The bike sustained moderate damage and was towed.

• Nicholas A. Hedges, 30, New Glarus, reported hitting a utility pole at 6:27 a.m. Sunday in the N8200 block of Zentner Road in the Town of New Glarus. No injuries were reported. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. He was cited for failing to maintain control and not having insurance.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Zachery Kudronowicz, 38, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 5:31 a.m. Friday on Dunbarton Road in the Town of Gratiot.

• Daniel Burbach, 67, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:50 p.m. Saturday on County G in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Quentin Stacy, 40, Waukesha, was injured and hospitalized at 3:36 p.m. Sunday after a one-vehicle motorcycle crash on County W in the Town of New Diggings. Stacy reportedly lost control after traveling over loose gravel and went into a ditch. His motorcycle was towed.
