MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No injuries were reported at 2:14 p.m. Thursday after Betty J. Norder, 73, Monroe, struck a parked vehicle at the intersection of 12th Street and 15th Avenue. Norder was cited for inattentive driving.

SHERIFF

MONROE - On Thursday:

• A driver was injured at 6:50 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover accident in the W800 block of Brooklyn Albany Road, Town of Brooklyn. Jared M. Powers, 18, Albany, lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway, overturning in a ditch. Powers declined treatment for an injury sustained in the crash. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Megan T. Hayes, 37, New Glarus, struck a deer in the W6200 block of Wisconsin 39, Town of New Glarus.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• A driver sustained minor injuries at 4:09 a.m. after Jordan L. Wear, 25, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, entered a ditch on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour. Wear was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and was arrested for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• A hit-and-run was reported at 5:18 a.m. after an unknown vehicle struck a parked car owned by Carl J. Lickel, 61, Belmont on North Mound Avenue in Belmont. Lickel reported no damage to his vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.

• No injuries were reported at 11:35 a.m. after Bryan M. Rehmstedt, 28, Eldridge, Iowa, slid into a ditch on County G, Town of Willow Springs. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
