Shirley Ann Bremer, age 73, of Oconomowoc, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at AngelsGrace Hospice following an extended battle with cancer.
Shirley was born February 10, 1936, the daughter of Nell Kubly-Kueng and John Kueng. She graduated from Juda High School in Juda, WI in 1953 and Moraine Park Technical College Fond du Lac, WI in 1976.
She was a member of Restoration Fellowship Church in Oconomowoc, WI and a former long time member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe, WI. She retired from Advocap, Inc, Fond du Lac as a Community Services Advocate and Training Facilitator, and the Center for Career Development, Employment and Training, UW Oshkosh as a Trainer in 1998.
Shirley is survived by her husband, William Bremer: children, Walter John (Sandy) Rufener and Frederick William (Sandy) Rufener; brother, Walter "Sonny" John Kueng; grandchildren, Benjamin, Tammy, Shannon, Eric, William and Emily; nieces, nephews, along with many other relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by parents, daughter Jean Ann Rufener, brothers Robert John Kueng, Willis "Nick" Benjamin Kueng, sister Doris Ruther-Mrs. Vincent "Porky" Coyle.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Restoration Fellowship Church, N72W39026 Lang Road Oconomowoc, WI. A private family burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, WI.
